We are thrilled to offer the opportunity to become a Phase Coach and build meaningful relationships with the young ladies in Spice! As a Phase Coach, you will empower and encourage our girls through our Sister Circle sessions and activities, while nurturing their personal development.

If you are interested in working directly with our girls, we will provide you with Phase coach training, a formal interview with our Executive Director, and a background screening.

 

Our Phase Coaches are responsible for building relationships with our girls, spending time with them twice a month, and attending our exciting signature events. To become a Phase Coach (mentor}, you must be at least 21 years old, fill out an application, and pass a background check. We can't wait to have you join our team!

Time Commitment:

• Face-to-face time twice a month (2 hours each session)

• Communication with girls monthly out side of our schedule times

• Chaperone Signature Events

Signature Events Include:

• Spice Girlz Sleepover

• Loving the Skin I am In Workshop

• Pink and Black Fashion Show Gala

• Stand up and Speak Out Bullying Summit

• Annual Holiday Party

• Community Service Out reach

• Fundraisers

Phase Coach (Mentor) Eligibility Requirements:

• Have a heart for girls 

• Must be age  21+.

• Meet with mentees twice a month. 

• Attend a 2 hour annual training for Spice Girlz mentors.

• Complete and pass a background check (paid for by Spice Girlz).

Application Process:

​All mentors will go through the following application and selection process:

​

• Complete the mentor application and permission for a criminal background check.

• The applicant be invited for an interview with our Executive Director and Assistant Director. 

• Each mentor must successfully pass a background check before participating with Spice Girlz.

​

The safety and well being of our Spice Girlz mentees is our number one priority. If at any time during the process, it becomes apparent that the applicant is not a good fit for Spice Girlz, or does not meet our eligibility requirements, they will be notified.

We expect our mentors to make our girls a #1 Priority.
